Volume Eating.THIS is something that can really help with weight loss

Volume Eating.
THIS is something you really come to place huge importance in when trying to eat in a caloric deficit.
.
Volume eating basically means increasing the volume/amount of food you’re eating without significantly increasing the caloric content. It’s usually done by packing meals with lots of veggie. So think of things like; adding a salad with your meat, mixing in courgetti with your pasta or cauli rice with your normal rice. .
Volume eating is great for a number of reasons:
1️⃣ When you increase the veggie content in your meals, you also increase the micronutrient and fibre content 🙌🏼
2️⃣ The bigger the meal, the longer you spend eating. Which gives your brain time to register when you are ‘full’. So hopefully by the time you finish your meal, you feel satisfied and aren’t reaching for the next thing.
3️⃣ Mentally. This is the biggest for me. I like food, I like a lot of food and I like big portions. I mentally find it easier eating in a caloric deficit when I still feel like I’m eating a lot of food 🙈
.
How do you increase your meal volume?
